Residents of Panshan county, Liaoning have used a giant wok to steam large quantities of crabs. The vessel, which is 6.6m in diameter, 2.3m tall with an internal depth of 1.5m and 3.5 tons in weight, has already been reported to Guinness for a world record. A crane had to be used to lower the lid on, and when it was lifted off after the steaming, the aroma released attracted yet more people.
