The second most popular microblog post on Sina Weibo yesterday (the first was about popular Chinese variety show Happy Camp)…
From Sina Weibo:
@英国报姐: A first grade boy who was bullied and made fun of by his schoolmates got the protection of 45 upper older schoolmates…
Note: This story is actually from 2013 late November.
Comments from Sina Weibo:
刘骜:
When I was in third grade, I was beaten up by a group of first graders, and in the end, it was a girl in my class who stepped forward to help me by chasing them away.
夜墨菌:
May I trouble people to stop making mocking or sarcastic jokes underneath warm [touching] microblog posts like this in the future? It’s really annoying.
呼风唤雨的Jewelry:
A person’s childhood is very important in shaping their personality. Look, right now, he has gotten a small bit of concern/compassion. When he grows up, he will magnify this small bit of concern/compassion that he originally received. We should all think about what role we play in other people’s lives.
不99说88:
Why does it feel like the one wearing red in the animated gif is the main character [of this story]?
红烧茄子鸭:
All kind-hearted boys.
文壹路222號:
Other people’s older schoolmates.
生姜学长:
So it isn’t just me who thinks the one in red is pretending to be cool!
清明时节雨中归人:
Such a positive story and there are still people sneering [making negative jokes], are you people still human?
_Alzheimer:
I’m reminded of when I was small, when once I went out to play with my deaf little brother and then heard two brats behind us laughing at him wearing his hearing aid. I immediately became furious, had my little brother first go home, and then dragged those two kids to a corner of the school where I beat them up. Although I was an older student bullying younger students, it was still satisfying.
一起来吃茶叶蛋:
Every time I see something that is really touching, the comments will always have some comments by silly cunts.
