Last week, we translated photographs and reports of a Xinjiang, China brick kiln that employed and abused mentally-handicapped laborers. Here is another story, but this time in Shanxi province.
From NetEase:
Shanxi brickyards use mentally disabled as labor, victims hit with bricks and burned by cigarettes
A brickyard in Shanxi holds captive over ten mentally disabled persons, forcing them to work. If they aren’t able to work, they suffer getting hit with bricks, and at night they are also chained to their beds. Each day they work 11 hours, and every month their wages are stolen by the foreman.

Completely out of control now, people are doing whatever they want [and getting away with it].

I want to cry. I love this country, but all I see are these messes.
网易四川省成都市网友:
The supervising government departments are all eating shit [not doing their jobs]~~~ Why is it always shen ma XX [this or that] media’s report causing the relevant departments to attach importance [to these things~~~ Did [the relevant government departments] really examine and approve when the brickyard applied for its operating license~?

Truly fucking inhuman people, sad.

I don’t really have anything to say~ Either way, this is how society is, and the next thing we’ll hear is that the government has started to do something about it. It is always like this.

This is just an extreme isolated case. I wish the major media would not report these kind of incidents, to avoid influencing our country’s normal social harmoniousness. What truly should be dealt with is NetEase’s hidden American agents, and those American dogs [not necessarily Americans, often just means people who worship America] that bash government departments. Those in support, ding this [comment] up, those of you with consciences (American dogs excluded).

What is wrong with China? Where is the government doing? What use is it feeding you guys to be so white and fat? Why do these things always happen?
网易北京市网友:
This country…has Li Gang, so many so many Li Gangs, and people who help Li Gang, so many so many, so many so many…

Motherfuckers, where is the government supervision, have government officials all died?! Seeing this is unbearable!!
网易福建省泉州市网友:
Don’t always drag in the country on everything. If a country truly never had anything bad happen, then would it still need a government!?
If you don’t love this country, then what country do you love? Japan?
You should see the good side, at the very least, you and I wouldn’t even have been able to see this kind of thing several years ago [because the news would have been suppressed];
We all know how to express our anger. This kind of thing is indeed very unimaginable, but let’s await justice!
Finally, I still want to say something angry, this robber [the brickyard management] deserves to die!
网易河南省洛阳市网友:
Are the black coal pits/mines, black brickyards, and the like truly unable to be regulated/dealt with? No, it’s only because there is no one willing to deal with them and let them go on. The local ZF‘s people all only know how to eat shit [do nothing]!!!
What do you think of some of these Chinese netizens’ comments?
